CappsNC multi-axis interface

CappsNC has been installed at a major aerospace manufacturer to program and control several Loxin-Tricept machines which are used for manufacturing large structures. CappsNC is able to program this 8 axes robotic cell with geometric path generations using automatic collision avoidance and optimum probe orientation for feature directions. The programs can be simulated with realistic machine kinematics. After programs are post processed to control 8 degree axes parameters on a Siemens 840D controller, measurement results for all feature calculations and GD&T are displayed in real time as the programs are executed. Both work offset and tool compensation feedbacks are provided and entered into the machine controller in realtime during the program execution as well.
